As we’ve said, if operations are the steps to ensure strategy is deployed,

Why many companies are not taking enough care of their operations done at their businesses?

Maybe lack of understanding importance of operations within the business? Or may be  they just run their business in automatic mode?

Let’s explain it a bit, Operations are the set of activities which include different processes and actions at different levels, from simple everyday tasks, or improvement tactics, reaching even to define strategic path of the organization.

So in many cases companies just mix all as simple task and tactical management related actions, which make organization’s production, sales or other processes to work, but they barely think about the need of making an operational overview analysis in order to see if what they do is aligned with the real need of the company in order to ensure survival of the business.

And this is the reason why operations aren’t just important but crucial for any project, because they could lead to success or failure of the business if not correctly defined, prioritized and managed, which needs a holistic overview.

We’ve seen many cases where entrepreneurs and small companies think, their problem is just related to the lack of Social media awareness or not having enough capital to continue burning investors’ money, but that is false in most of the time. Problem is related to the lack of operational management of the core business they want to run.

You may or may not agree with this point of view, and that’s fine, in the following articles we will try to explain, how we see it and how we feel it at KAY-TEAM.
