When defining our business approach to a mature sector as Operations Consultancy, we asked ourselves:
“What were the key areas where consulting services fell short of our expectations in our own experience as clients of consultancy firms?”
Small internal survey pointed out following issues:
- Lack of practical understanding of how businesses operate daily.
- Inability to truly feel the real pain of the customer.
- High turnover among junior staff supporting senior project managers, leading to inconsistency.
- Only consultancy experienced profiles onboard, lacking direct experience in operational or management roles within business.
- High price of given services comparing to the benefits obtained from the given advice.
So we made ourselves a second question,
Who will you choose to guide you in achieving your business goals?
A team of consultants who share best practices and academic knowledge, or a team of practitioners with real world company management experience and a track record, who have successfully implemented them in real-world settings?
Despite no guarantees of 100% success, we believe the second option offers the greatest potential for positive outcomes, based on the track record and cumulated experience.
First option could be good for executive training, theoretical discussions or may be suitable for motivational engagement but when you need real deployment, you require someone who understands your pains and have been on that situation before you.
Years of experience in production, process, sales, engineering, projects, team, and business management- fueled by our enduring passion for helping businesses thrive- inspired us to create a consultancy firm with a fresh approach.
Based on the client’s needs and not on our ego.
We stand by our motto: «Every size. Every industry.»
Size matters, and smaller companies often face barriers to business improvement due to the inflexible and non-value-based fee structures of many consulting firms.
Industry also matters, as the more different sectors a consulting firm is trying to serve, the bigger the temptations for a «pre-packed» solution method.
Our approach requires adapting our value proposition to each client’s needs, delivering customized solutions, because we believe the “one-size-fits-all” solutions are unsuitable for the consulting industry, if you really want to help your customer.
This is just our perspective, we are curious to know your take. Share your insights and experiences in the comments.
